Product Questions & Answers (4)

Question by: Dwight F on Dec 29, 2025, 6:12 PM
how hot or cold can this valve run before the seals give out
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 8:52 PM
Extreme limits for the Buna-N seals range from 40 degrees below zero up to 248 degrees Fahrenheit. Keeping your fluid within those boundaries helps get the best lifespan out of the internal cartridge.
Question by: Hubert G on Feb 1, 2026, 8:48 PM
got a valve body already, what cavity does this SV9-8 cartridge screw into?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 3, 2026, 7:01 PM
The SV9-8 series uses a C-8-4 cavity, and the housing for that cavity is sold separately since this SKU is the cartridge only.
Question by: Cody F on Jan 25, 2026, 7:03 PM
What size cavity is needed for this valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 10:21 AM
This cartridge fits a C-8-4 size cavity. Keep in mind the housing is sold separately.
Question by: Daryl J on Jan 30, 2026, 8:05 AM
what all does this valve come with out of the box, or do you have to buy the coil and housing separate?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 2:16 PM
Just the cartridge itself ships with this part. The coil and housing are both sold separately. You'll need a C-8-4 cavity size housing and a P Series 20 Watt coil to get a complete, working assembly. Worth planning for those add-ons before you order if you're trying to get up and running quick.
