The SystemStak Flow Control Valve NFPA-D05 Size Dual Meter Out of Work Ports Standard Needle Control Screw & Locknut Adjustment ensures precise flow control in industrial applications. Constructed with a robust ductile iron body and hardened steel internal components it is designed to withstand high pressure up to 4500 PSI.

does this valve work for both meter-in and meter-out, or is it just the one way?

The DGMFN-5-Y-A2W-B2W-30 is set up specifically for dual meter-out control on both work ports. Meter-in models do exist within the SystemStak family, but this particular unit meters flow leaving the actuator ports, not entering them. If your circuit calls for meter-in control, you'd want a different model from the same valve group.

Will this work in place of a DGMFN-5-Y-A2W-20 valve?

This SystemStak valve, model number DGMFN-5-Y-A2W-B2W-30, is also a D05 size valve, so it should be physically compatible. However, note that this model has dual meter-out functionality on both work ports, while the -20 model may not. Make sure that functionality aligns with your application.
