A pressure test point and hose assembly for hydraulic systems, the SMK-20-1/4NPT-V-D-W3 connects via a 1/4 NPT male thread and supports pressure monitoring, venting, and fluid sampling under live system conditions. The design maintains a leakproof seal until the connection is fully opened, allowing safe coupling at working pressures up to 5,800 PSI without depressurizing the circuit first.
Metal components are steel construction with a stainless steel ball for corrosion resistance. This configuration uses Viton® seals, rated from -4°F to 392°F, making it suitable for elevated-temperature hydraulic environments. The polyamide hose is rated to 212°F. Buna-N and EPDM seal options are available for different temperature ranges or media compatibility. A self-locking metal protective cap reduces contamination ingress between uses. Compatible with hydraulic oils and mineral-based fluids; alternate seal materials are available for other liquid or gaseous media.

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Rusty R on Jun 29, 2025, 9:58 PM
Will this hook up to my existing hydraulic system without too much trouble? Just need to monitor the pressure.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 6:35 PM
This pressure test point connects via a 1/4 NPT male thread, which should be compatible with many standard hydraulic systems. The design allows for safe coupling at working pressures up to 5,800 PSI without needing to depressurize the circuit first, which simplifies the hookup process.
