Description & Features

Constructed with 1045 cast steel clevises and 65-45-12 ductile iron components this hydraulic tie rod cylinder is ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications. It maintains optimal performance with a 2.00 inch bore 1.13 inch rod diameter and 3/8 NPT ports ensuring efficient fluid management. The cylinder features a 4.00 inch stroke providing precise and reliable operation.

It offers a maximum operating pressure of 2500 PSI and a rated load capacity of 7800 lbs making it suitable for demanding conditions. The double-acting piston seal and special wiper seals prevent contamination and moisture ingress enhancing durability. The induction hardened chrome-plated rods are tested for 90 hrs minimum on ASTM B117-02 salt spray tests.

With a pin-to-pin extended length of 18.25 inches and a retracted length of 14.25 inches versatility is assured for diverse configurations. Heavy-duty Grade 8 piston nut is torqued to specifications and secured with a thread/locker sealant. The cylinder undergoes comprehensive static and dynamic pressure tests to ensure reliability.

What's the retracted and extended length on this cylinder? Just wanna make sure it fits in my setup.

The pin-to-pin retracted length is 14.25 inches, and the extended length is 18.25 inches. Double-check those measurements against your space.

got a tight spot to fit this cylinder. what’s the pin-to-pin length retracted and fully stretched out?

For fit-up, it measures 14.25 inches pin-to-pin when retracted and 18.25 inches pin-to-pin at full extension.

Pushing and pulling have different force outputs on a double-acting cylinder like this one. The 7800 lb rated load reflects the push capacity based on the 2-inch bore at 2500 PSI. The pull force runs a bit lower because the rod takes up some of the piston area on the return stroke.
