The Tie Rod Hydraulic Cylinder from Bailey Sales Corp Div Bailey Intl Corp (Catalog Number: C1MV39) is engineered for robust industrial applications. With a 2.00 inch bore and a 6.00 inch stroke it is suitable for demanding environments requiring high reliability and performance.

Featuring 1045 cast steel clevises and 65-45-12 ductile iron cast head this hydraulic cylinder delivers durability and longevity. The 1.13 inch rod diameter made of induction-hardened chrome-plated material ensures resistance against wear and corrosion passing 90 hours minimum on ASTM B117-02 salt spray tests.

Its double-acting piston seal with single-acting capabilities and special snap-in type wiper seals are designed to prevent contamination and moisture ingress. The heavy-duty Grade 8 piston nut torqued and sealed with thread locker offers superior performance under high pressure conditions with a maximum operating pressure of 2500 PSI.

Double ported base caps and ductile iron pistons enhance the cylinder's efficiency making it a reliable choice for various industrial needs. For optimal load management refer to column load data based on a pin-to-pin mounting calculation keeping in mind the long stroke cylinders extension limitations.

got a cylinder with 3/8 npt lines already on the machine. are the ports on this one 3/8 npt too?

Port size is 3/8 NPT on this cylinder. The base end is double ported, and the rod end has a single port that is inline with the pin.

rod's chrome plated on this one, right? trying to figure out if it'll hold up running through some dusty conditions without the seal going bad on me too quick

The rod is induction-hardened and chrome-plated, and it's rated to pass a minimum of 90 hours on the ASTM B117-02 salt spray test. On top of that, the snap-in wiper seals are built specifically to keep outside contamination and moisture from getting in. The molded ribs on those seals add stability and help prevent pressure from getting trapped behind the wiper.
