Description & Features

Constructed with 1045 cast steel clevises and a 65-45-12 ductile iron cast head this cylinder is engineered for durability and strength. With a 3.5-inch bore 1.25-inch rod diameter and 18-inch stroke it's ideal for demanding industrial applications. Induction-hardened chrome-plated rods are designed to resist wear and corrosion passing a minimum of 90 hours on ASTM B117-02 salt spray tests.

This custom 3.5 x 18 cylinder features double-acting piston seals with single-acting capabilities complemented by molded ribs for added seal stability and pressure trap prevention. It has 1/2 NPT ports for reliable connectivity and a maximum operating pressure of 2500 PSI. Heavy-duty Grade 8 piston nuts are torqued to specifications and secured with thread/locker sealant enhancing reliability under high pressure. Special snap-in type wiper seals prevent exterior contamination and moisture ingress ensuring optimal performance. Tested to recommended static and dynamic pressure specifications it is suitable for applications with a rated load of 10700 lbs and a pressure rating of 1100 PSI.

Got an old cylinder on a loader attachment that's been giving me trouble, 3.5 bore, 18-inch stroke. This one rated for 2500 PSI? Trying to make sure I'm not running it under spec.

2500 PSI is the maximum operating pressure on this one. Rated load comes in at 10,700 lbs with a pressure rating of 1,100 PSI at that load. The rod is 1.25 inches in diameter, ports are 1/2 NPT, and pin-to-pin extended sits at 46.25 inches with a retracted measurement of 28.25 inches. If you're swapping it into an existing setup, those pin dimensions are worth double-checking before you pull the trigger.
