What all can this tubing handle? Seen it listed for hydraulics but wondering if it works for air lines and chemical transfer too.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 2, 2025, 6:15 AM
Flexible nylon tubing like this gets used across a pretty wide range of applications. Low-pressure hydraulics, air lines, lubrication systems, instrumentation, and gas, chemical, and oil processing are all within scope. The Nylon 11 construction handles liquid and gas transfer well, and with a working pressure rated up to 250 PSI and a temperature range of -40°F to +200°F, it holds up in most shop and field environments without much fuss.
Question by: Tony M on Apr 1, 2026, 8:37 PM
reckon this nylon tubing'd be alright for runnin' some air lines in the shop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2026, 1:29 PM
This TP160 polyamide tubing is designed for use with both liquids and gasses, so it should work well for air lines. It's also pretty tough stuff, made to resist abrasion.
Question by: Travis J on Mar 8, 2026, 5:47 PM
got a job that needs 5/16 tubing, is this the stuff and what kinda pressure will it take
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 10, 2026, 10:14 AM
For size, the tube outer diameter is 0.3125 inch, which is 5/16 inch OD, with a 0.04 inch wall. On pressure, it is rated up to 250 PSI maximum working pressure.
