VFC Series Variable Flow Pressure Compensated Control Valve VFC40-K-G | TSK3018-11

Description & Features

The WEBTEC VFC Series Variable Flow Pressure Compensated Control Valve, model VFC40-K-G, is engineered to deliver consistent flow control across a range of applications. With a maximum flow capacity of 40 L/min (10 US gpm) and a pressure rating of 210 bar (3000 psi), this valve ensures precise operation under demanding conditions. Its robust aluminium body and carbon steel internals provide durability, while the NBR/PTFE seals contribute to reliable performance. The valve is designed to handle fluid temperatures from -30 to 120 °C (-22 to 248 °F) and can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 to 50 °C (-22 to 122 °F). It is suitable for use with mineral oils compliant with ISO 11158, making it versatile for various hydraulic systems. The 9/16" -18UN #6 SAE ORB porting ensures compatibility with standard hydraulic connections.

At just 0.4 kg (0.9 lbs), the VFC40-K-G offers a lightweight yet powerful solution for precise flow control, making it an essential component in industrial hydraulic systems.

Question by: Scott R on Jun 29, 2025, 10:55 AM
Is the VFC40-K-G valve compatible with mineral oil-based hydraulic systems?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 7:51 AM
Absolutely, the VFC40-K-G valve is designed to work with mineral oils that comply with ISO 11158 standards. This makes it a reliable choice for most hydraulic systems using such fluids.
Question by: Denise B on Feb 4, 2026, 12:38 PM
porting on this is 9/16-18 SAE ORB, that's #6, right? trying to match it up to existing fittings on a test circuit before I order
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 5, 2026, 7:25 PM
Correct, it's 9/16"-18UN #6 SAE ORB on both ports. If your existing fittings are already spec'd for #6 SAE ORB, you should have a straight swap with no adapters needed. Worth double-checking your current fitting seats are in good shape before you torque everything down, but the thread form and size will match.
