VFC Series Variable Flow Pressure Compensated Control Valve VFC55-K-J | TSK3018-4

Description & Features

The VFC Series VFC55-K-J by WEBTEC is a pressure compensated, two-port variable flow control valve designed to deliver consistent, adjustable flow regardless of system pressure fluctuations. With a working range of 2 to 55 L/min (0.5 to 15 US gpm) and a maximum pressure rating of 210 bar (3000 psi), it suits a broad range of industrial hydraulic circuits where precise flow regulation is required.

Ported in 1/2" BSPP, the valve features an aluminium body with carbon steel internals and NBR/PTFE seals, keeping the overall weight to just 0.5 kg. Compatibility with mineral oils to ISO 11158 makes it straightforward to integrate into most standard hydraulic systems. The fluid temperature range of -30 to 120 °C (-22 to 248 °F) and an ambient rating of -30 to 50 °C (-22 to 122 °F) support reliable service across a wide range of environmental conditions.

Question by: Larry K on Aug 28, 2025, 10:20 AM
How does the VFC55-K-J handle different flow rates?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 30, 2025, 9:01 AM
The VFC55-K-J, a pressure compensated variable flow control valve, is designed to manage flow rates from 2 to 55 L/min (0.5 to 15 US gpm). It automatically adjusts to maintain a consistent flow despite variations in pressure, making it ideal for applications where precise flow control is crucial.
Question by: Dan S on Jul 2, 2025, 8:22 AM
what's the flow range on this valve, and is 2 L/min actually usable at the low end or is that just a spec number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 4, 2025, 8:17 AM
Rated flow range runs from 2 to 55 L/min, which in US terms is roughly 0.5 to 15 gpm. The pressure compensation keeps flow steady across that range, so the low end is genuinely usable, not just a catalog floor. It holds flow consistent even when system pressure shifts, which is the whole point of a pressure compensated design.
