The 180 Series WEBTEC rotary shear directional control valve delivers precise directional control in hydraulic circuits where leakage must be kept to an absolute minimum. Rated to 207 bar (3000 psi) with a maximum flow capacity of 38 L/min (10 US gpm), the 180-E2G is well suited to demanding hydraulic service across a wide fluid temperature range of -30 to 120°C (-22 to 248°F).
The valve body combines aluminium and black phenolic thermoset plastic construction, with carbon steel internals and NBR seals, making for a robust yet compact unit weighing just 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs). Connections are 3/8" NPTF, and the valve is compatible with mineral oils to ISO 11158 as standard, with other fluid compatibility available on request. Ambient temperature suitability extends from -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F), supporting year-round use in a range of industrial environments.

How does the 180 Series Rotary Shear Directional Control Valve handle high pressure situations?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 7:31 AM
In demanding applications, this valve can handle pressures up to 207 bar (3000 psi) with ease. Its robust construction with an aluminum body and carbon steel internals ensures it performs reliably under high-pressure conditions.
Question by: Chad S on Feb 15, 2026, 2:06 PM
what's the max pressure this valve handles, and is 3/8 NPTF the only port size available?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 8:36 AM
Rated to 207 bar (3000 psi), so it fits squarely in the range most industrial hydraulic circuits run at. On the porting, 3/8" NPTF is what this model comes with. If that thread form works with your existing fittings, you're good to go. NPTF is a dry-seal tapered thread, so it gives you a tighter, more leak-resistant connection than standard NPT without relying entirely on sealant.
