Global TTC 1 & 2 Wire Braid Steel Crimp Fitting, G 3/8 Female BSP (British) Swivel, -06 Hose, Straight

Description & Features

The Aeroquip TTC Steel Crimp Fittings by Danfoss Power Solutions offers a reliable solution for general-purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics. Designed for use with -06 hose size, this fitting connects seamlessly via G 3/8 Female BSP (British) swivel threads.

Constructed from 1 & 2 wire braid steel, it ensures durability and optimal performance in demanding hydraulic applications. Suitable for both low and medium pressure environments, it performs exceptionally well with H277 or H435 hoses where shock hazards are present.

Its straight fitting design further enhances application versatility, making it an excellent choice for various hydraulic systems. The necessity of a mandrel is eliminated, simplifying installation procedures. Additionally, thread sealants are not required, reducing maintenance needs.

End types include BSPP for the first connection and Line/Hose/Tube for the second, both measuring 0.375. The fitting aligns with general industrial standards, making it a standardized and efficient component in hydraulic systems.

Question by: Bonnie H on Mar 12, 2026, 10:00 AM
i’ve got a -06 hose, will this fitting crimp on and still give me that G 3/8 female swivel end
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 14, 2026, 7:33 AM
For a -06 hose end, this is a straight Global TTC steel crimp fitting made to crimp onto 1 or 2 wire braid hose and finish out with a G 3/8 female BSPP swivel connection.
Question by: Sherry S on Jan 24, 2026, 3:03 PM
fitting says no thread sealant needed - that right? running BSP threads and always been told to use tape or paste on everything
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 11:31 AM
BSP parallel threads sealed at the face rather than in the threads themselves, so tape and paste actually work against you here. The swivel design on this fitting handles the seal mechanically at the mating surface. Putting sealant on it can prevent proper face contact and cause more problems than it solves. Skip the tape on this one.
