trying to crimp up a -06 line, is this fitting meant for H277 or H435 hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 1:18 PM
For a quick fit check, this crimp fitting is specified for use with H277 or H435 hose in general purpose low to medium pressure hydraulic service, including applications where shock hazards exist.

fitting says no mandrel or thread sealant needed -- is that actually right or is that just for certain setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 6, 2026, 6:26 AM
For this particular fitting, that's correct across the board. No mandrel is required during crimping, and the threads don't need sealant applied before assembly. The female swivel end handles sealing on its own as part of how the connection seats. It simplifies the install quite a bit, especially if you're working in a tight spot where applying sealant would be a pain anyway.
