what kind of setups is this fitting good for, do i need to worry about pressure spikes
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 2:33 PM
General purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic lines are the right fit for this part. If your system is prone to shock hazards or sudden pressure spikes, you should switch to H277 or H435 instead.
Question by: Duane C on Oct 27, 2025, 11:46 AM
fitting don't need any sealant on the threads, right? or do i gotta put something on there before i install it
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 6:18 AM
No thread sealant is required for this fitting. The flanged connection style handles sealing through the flange face rather than relying on thread engagement, so adding sealant would actually be unnecessary and potentially counterproductive. Just make sure your mating surfaces are clean and the hardware is properly torqued.
Question by: Roy B on Feb 27, 2026, 3:49 PM
Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees a fair amount of vibration?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 28, 2026, 4:53 PM
For systems where vibration or shock is a concern, it's best to use H277 or H435 hoses with this fitting for optimal performance and safety.
