how tight should I be torqueing these fittings down? got a m26 thread on em.

Proper installation requires tightening the fitting to between 81 and 96 foot-pounds. Going outside that range might risk damaging the M26 x 1.5 threads or ruining the seal.

Trying to replace a fitting on a -10 hose, what exactly are the ends on this one?

On the hose side it is made for a -10 hose and it is a straight steel crimp fitting for 1 and 2 wire braid hose. The thread end is a metric female swivel with M26 x 1.5 threads, using the German DIN 3902 24 degree flare light duty style, and it is sized for 18 mm tube OD.

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system for a log splitter?

fitting says light duty swivel, does that mean it ain't gonna hold up in a high pressure setup, or is it fine for regular hydraulic work?
