trying to match up a hose end here, is this the straight male JIC 37 flare with 7/8-14 threads for an -08 hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 17, 2026, 6:17 PM
You are looking at a straight male JIC 37 degree flare end with 7/8-14 threads on one side, and it crimps onto an -08 hose on the other side.

fitting says it works with H277 or H435 hose, does that mean it won't crimp onto other hose types?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 8, 2025, 11:17 AM
For this series, yes, those are the two hose types it's built around. The 1AA10MJ8 is matched to H277 and H435 hoses, and that pairing is what ensures a proper crimp geometry and a secure, leak-free connection. Running it on a different hose could mean the crimp dimensions don't line up right, so sticking with those two is the safe call.
Question by: Phil P on Jul 22, 2025, 2:02 PM
Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system where there's a lot of vibration?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 24, 2025, 6:36 AM
This Aeroquip TTC fitting is designed for general-purpose, low to medium pressure hydraulic applications, and it's particularly suitable where shock hazards are a concern. It should offer reliable performance in environments with vibration when used with H277 or H435 hoses.
