The Danfoss Power Solutions (II LLC Aeroquip) Global TTC 1 & 2 Wire Braid Steel Crimp Fitting is engineered for low and medium pressure hydraulics. It features a 11/16-16 female O-Ring Face Seal Swivel and is optimal for -08 hoses. The 90-degree elbow configuration ensures a reliable connection in industrial applications.

The female ORS swivel and 90deg; elbow design ensure compatibility and reliability. Suitable for use with H277 or H435 hoses, it is especially valuable where shock hazards exist, facilitating general-purpose hydraulic applications. got a -08 hose and need a 90 elbow that’ll swivel into an ORFS port, is this the right fitting?

For a -08 hose, this is a 90 degree steel crimp fitting with a female O-Ring Face Seal swivel on one end, threaded 11/16-16. The other end is the hose side for -08, so it matches what you described.

skid steer takes a lot of sudden pressure spikes. is this the right fitting for high shock systems

For setups with heavy pressure spikes or shock hazards, you need to use an H277 or H435 fitting instead. The one you are looking at is made strictly for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics.

Will this fitting work with a standard -08 hose I've got laying around?

fitting says it works with H277 or H435 hose -- does that mean it won't crimp onto other hose types?

For this particular fitting, H277 and H435 are the specified compatible hoses. H435 is called out specifically for situations where shock hazards are a concern. Running it on hose outside those two designations isn't supported by the spec, so sticking to those hose types is the right call for a reliable crimp.
