Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Marvin M on Mar 29, 2026, 6:57 PM
What all can this coupling actually handle, and is there anything it flat out can't be used for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 3:54 PM
Cast steel construction and a rubber seal make it well suited for air and water service. The pressure rating is 150 PSI at 70 degrees F, and it holds up across a temperature range of negative 20 to 160 degrees F. One hard limit to know up front: steam service is completely off the table. Never run steam through any Universal coupling in this line, regardless of pressure or temperature.

got an airline setup that’s 3/4 npt on the tool side. is this coupling the male end and is it 3/4?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 12, 2025, 10:23 AM
Male 3/4 inch NPT is what it’s built with, so it’s the male threaded end in that size.
