Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Harold P on Jul 19, 2025, 8:18 PM
does this hose work for ethanol-blended fuel or is it strictly for straight gasoline?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 21, 2025, 10:54 AM
Alcohol blends are fully covered with this one. The nylon barrier liner sits on the inside of the tube, which keeps fuel from making direct contact with the nitrile rubber underneath. That construction is specifically what gives it the strong permeation resistance across all marine fuels, ethanol blends included. It carries USCG Type A1 and SAE J1527 ratings, so it meets the current standards for fuel feed, return, transfer, and vent lines on inboard, I/O, stern drive, outboard, and generator set applications.
Question by: Rick B on Jan 31, 2026, 8:07 PM
got a tighter run in my boat, how sharp can i bend this 1/2 inch fuel hose without kinking it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 2, 2026, 6:45 AM
For routing, the published minimum bend radius is 4.5 inches. Keeping your bends at or above that radius helps it stay flexible without collapsing the line.
