Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Ricky L on Apr 4, 2025, 12:13 PM
Does this hose hold up to ethanol-blended fuels? Got a couple boats running E10 and don't want to be pulling lines apart every season.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 5, 2025, 9:43 PM
Ethanol blends are exactly what the nylon internal barrier is built to handle. The barrier sits on the inside of the tube, so the fuel contacts the nylon layer rather than the nitrile rubber directly. That setup gives it strong resistance to permeation and aging from alcohol-blended marine fuels. Rated for temperatures from -20 F up to 212 F and a max working pressure of 75 PSI, it holds up well in the kind of repeated seasonal use you're describing on inboard and I/O setups.
Question by: Kirk M on Jun 28, 2025, 4:51 PM
got a 5/8 fuel line setup on my boat, is this hose actually 5/8 ID and what’s the outside diameter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 29, 2025, 7:04 PM
The inside diameter is 0.63 inch (0.625) and the outside diameter is 1.00 inch, so it matches a 5/8 ID fuel line size.
Question by: Marvin Y on Dec 30, 2025, 6:10 AM
What kind of fuel is this hose rated to handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 6:28 AM
This hose offers really strong resistance to aging and fuel permeation, especially with alcohol blends and all kinds of marine fuels.
