what's the pressure rating on this hose and is it actually good enough for a marine fuel line setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 10, 2025, 8:14 AM
Rated up to 750 PSI, so it holds up well for most marine fuel line applications. It meets SAE J1527 Type A1, which covers both flame resistance and increased permeation resistance. It's also qualified under SAE J1942-1, meaning no firesleeve is required when it's used as a marine fuel line. For diesel, gasoline, hot lube oil, and water service, it's built for exactly that kind of work.

Will this hose hold up okay for regular gasoline and diesel fuel?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 9, 2025, 1:51 PM
This Aeroquip FC234 series hose is built to handle both diesel and gasoline, along with hot lube oil and water.

got a tight spot by the tank, how sharp can i bend this hose without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 29, 2025, 11:57 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius is 2.75 inches. Keeping bends at or above that radius helps it lay in without kinking and keeps the reinforcement from getting stressed.
Question by: Chad K on Jun 30, 2025, 3:48 PM
hose rated for both gas and diesel, or just one? running a mixed-fuel setup on a work boat and cant afford to get this wrong
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 2, 2025, 7:09 AM
Both fuels are covered. The FC234 series is built to handle gasoline and diesel fuel, along with hot lube oil and water. The inner tube is an AQP elastomer, which holds up well against the chemical demands of those fluids. For a mixed-fuel marine setup, that compatibility across fuel types is exactly what makes this hose worth using.
