Rated to a maximum of 10,000 psi (700 bar), the Enerpac V152 Pressure Relief Valve is designed to limit pump-generated pressure in a hydraulic circuit, protecting downstream components from overload. The valve opens automatically whenever the preset pressure threshold is reached, making it suitable for automating clamp cycles and maintaining consistent system pressure.
Adjustment is straightforward, turning the handle clockwise increases the pressure setting across a range of 800 to 10,000 psi. Repeatability accuracy of ±3% supports reliable, consistent performance across repeated cycles. Maximum oil flow is 1,830 in³/min (30 l/min), and all units feature NPT or SAE porting to maintain leak-free performance at rated pressure. A 3 ft. return line hose kit is included. A nickel-plated variant with Viton seals is available for applications requiring additional corrosion resistance or elevated temperature tolerance.

pressure range on this valve goes up to 10,000 psi, that enough headroom for most shop press and clamping setups or is it pushing the limit on those?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 6:08 AM
For shop press and clamping work, 10,000 psi is right in the wheelhouse. The V152 adjusts anywhere from 800 to 10,000 psi, so you've got a wide range to dial in exactly what your system needs. It opens automatically whenever the preset pressure is hit, which keeps things from overloading other components in the circuit. The 800 psi floor is worth knowing about too, if your application ever needs something below that, this valve wouldn't be the right fit.

turning that handle, how do i know which way bumps the pressure up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2026, 2:41 PM
Turn the handle clockwise to increase the pressure setting. The valve will open whenever the preset pressure is reached, so it limits the pressure your pump can build in the circuit.
