V Series Guided Piston Relief Valve, Cast Iron, 1 NPT Ports, Spring, Up To 25.00 GPM

Description & Features

The sliding piston concept and internal design contours of Fulflo valves offer unique flow and stability characteristics ensuring reliable performance without chatter. Constructed from durable cast iron this valve maintains consistency with a hardened steel piston and Buna-N seals. Quiet stable and efficient performance is assured in load regulation and system protection applications. This device effectively modulates flow and pressure making it suitable for hydraulic oils water solvents and various chemicals. Fulflo guided piston valves are designed to be less responsive to transient pressure surges eliminating the tendency to pound squeal or chatter. Featuring 1 NPT ports this valve operates at a pressure range of 150-350 PSI and manages a rated flow of up to 25.00 GPM. Unlike conventional direct-acting relief valves Fulflo valves provide a proportional pressure rise with increasing flow avoiding the issues seen with spring-loaded poppet or ball check valves. got a hydraulic setup that likes to squeal and chatter when the pressure spikes. is this style relief valve any better about that
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2026, 8:28 PM
Compared to a typical direct acting poppet or ball style relief, the guided sliding piston design is made to be less responsive to quick transient pressure surges, which helps prevent pounding, squeal, and chatter. It is aimed at quiet, stable operation for load regulation and system protection.
