Port anticavitation valve (VR)

Designed for use within the Salami VD10A Series working section, this port anticavitation valve (VR) protects hydraulic circuits from cavitation damage by allowing makeup flow at work ports during load-induced pressure drops. It is rated for flows up to 32 GPM and handles operating pressures up to 4,000 PSI at the pressure port and up to 4,500 PSI at the work ports, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI at the outlet port.

Compatible with mineral oil at viscosities between 12 and 75 cSt under optimal conditions, the valve performs across a fluid temperature range of -4°F to 185°F with standard NBR seals. Recommended filtration follows ISO 4406 class 19/16. All published performance data is based on mineral oil at 16 cSt and ISO 4406 contamination level 19/16, providing a consistent reference baseline for system integration.
