Designed for demanding hydraulic applications, the Salami VD10/VD12 Cable Control offers reliable performance with its robust construction. This working section, part of the VD10A Series, is engineered to handle a maximum operating pressure of 4000 PSI on ports "P" and 4500 PSI on ports "A" and "B", ensuring optimal functionality in high-pressure environments. With a flow rating of 32 GPM, it accommodates a wide range of industrial requirements.
Suitable for use in ambient temperatures ranging from 86°F to 140°F, this component can withstand fluid temperatures between -4°F and 185°F when equipped with standard NBR seals. It maintains fluid integrity with a recommended filtration level of ISO 4406: 19/16, ensuring long-lasting performance and minimal internal leakage of 2.43 to 3.34 in³/min at 2285 PSI. The Salami VD10/VD12 Cable Control is an essential component for efficient hydraulic system management.

Question by: Jimmy H on Sep 29, 2025, 9:29 AM
got a system that runs around 32 gpm, is this working section gonna keep up without choking it down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 10:12 AM
For flow capacity, it is rated at 32 GPM, so a 32 GPM circuit is within what this VD10A series working section is built to handle.
Question by: Earl D on Nov 18, 2025, 8:27 AM
What's the pressure ceiling on this cable control, and does it hold up on ports A and B the same as port P?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 9:06 PM
Port "P" is rated to 4000 PSI, while ports "A" and "B" are actually rated a bit higher at 4500 PSI. The outlet port "T" has a max back pressure of 363 PSI, so that one's more limited. For high-pressure work, the A and B ports give you a little extra headroom, which can matter depending on how your system is loaded.
