Question by: Ricky J on Oct 28, 2025, 2:21 PM
what exactly is this plug for on the VD6A series, like what's it actually doing in the valve stack?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 9:23 PM
When you're not using the carry over port on a VD6A series directional control valve, that outlet needs to be blocked off. The plug seals that carry over port so fluid doesn't escape and the system holds pressure where it needs to. Without it seated in place, you'd lose pressure integrity across the valve stack. It's a closing component, plain and simple, meant to cap an unused outlet on the modular valve assembly.
