Description & Features

Cast-iron construction and a hardened, nickel-plated steel spool design make this directional control valve well-suited for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The Salami VDM6/VD6 E9 45W 12V supports up to 8 work sections and accommodates parallel, series, and tandem circuit configurations, each with load check valve protection. Open and closed center options are available, along with power beyond capability. The 12V electric actuator is rated at 45W and operates across an ambient temperature range of -22°F to 140°F.

Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 5,100 PSI on ports P, A, and B, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI on outlet port T, and a flow rating of 12 GPM. Compatible fluid viscosity ranges from 10 cSt minimum to 400 cSt maximum, with an optimal range of 12–75 cSt. Standard NBR seals support fluid temperatures from -4°F to 185°F. Recommended filtration is ISO 4406: 19/16. Multiple spool types are available, including double acting, single acting, motor, float, and cylinder configurations.

Will this run okay in hot weather? Gotta make sure it can handle a summer's day.

Ambient temperatures from -22°F to 140°F are fine for this Salami VDM6/VD6 E9. It can also handle fluid temps between -4°F and 185°F, using standard NBR seals.
