Designed for use within the Salami VD6A Series directional control valve platform, this port relief (VA), adjustable 1900 PSI to 2970 PSI provides localized pressure protection at individual work ports in multi-section valve assemblies. The adjustable pressure range makes it well suited for systems requiring tailored relief settings at ports A or B without altering the main circuit relief.

The VD6A Series supports up to eight work sections and accommodates parallel, series, and tandem circuit configurations. Spools are hardened steel and nickel-plated, with interchangeable options covering double acting, single acting, motor, float, and cylinder functions. The platform operates across a fluid temperature range of -4°F to 185°F with standard NBR seals and accepts fluid viscosities from 10 cSt minimum to 400 cSt maximum. Maximum operating pressure on ports P, A, and B is 5100 PSI, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI on the outlet port. Available control options include manual, cable, electric, electro-hydraulic, proportional hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-pneumatic configurations.
