The Salami VD6A Series offers a robust construction with cast-iron bodies and can handle up to 8 work sections. It efficiently operates with a flow rating of 12 GPM and a maximum operating pressure of 5100 PSI on ports P A and B. Designed to function in a fluid temperature range of -4deg;F to 185deg;F with optimal fluid viscosity between 12 cSt to 75 cSt the series is dependable across varied environmental conditions.

This series features spools made from hardened steel and nickel-plated for extended durability. It provides various spool selections including double acting single acting motor cylinder and float. The VD6A Series supports both open and closed center configurations along with power beyond options. Its interchangeability of spools enhances its adaptability and auxiliary valves are available for ports A and B.

With an ambient temperature range of -22deg;F to 140deg;F it addresses diverse operational requirements. Maximum back pressure on outlet port T is 363 PSI. The series includes several mid-inlet modules and a venting valve ensuring customization and efficiency. Internal leakage is controlled between 1.1 - 1.52 insup3;/min. at 2285 PSI.

Available controls for the VD6A Series include manual cable electric electro-hydraulic proportional hydraulic pneumatic proportional pneumatic and electro-pneumatic addressing various control needs. Each section is protected by load check valves supporting performance in parallel series and tandem circuits.

What's the max pressure this valve can take, and does that hold across all the main ports?

Ports P, A, and B are all rated to 5100 PSI, so you're covered consistently across your main working ports. The one exception worth knowing is the outlet port T, which has a max back pressure of 363 PSI. Keep that in mind when you're sizing your return line.

got a hydraulic setup that sees some cold mornings and then runs pretty warm later on. what temp range will this VD6A section tolerate?

On the oil side, it is rated for fluid temperatures from -4°F up to 185°F when using standard NBR seals. For the surrounding environment, the ambient range is -22°F to 140°F.
