Engineered by Salami S.p.A the VD8A Series Salami VD8A/Power Beyond Sleeve operates efficiently under a range of conditions making it a robust choice for sectional applications. This component is designed to function optimally within ambient temperatures of 86deg;F to 140deg;F and supports fluid temperatures from -4deg;F to 185deg;F with standard NBR seals ensuring adaptability to various environments.

With a flow rating of 20 GPM and an internal leakage of 1.52 - 2.13 insup3;/min at 2285 PSI this sleeve reliably handles demanding tasks. It is capable of managing a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI on outlet port T and can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 5100 PSI on ports "P" "A" and "B".

Ideal for use with mineral oil the sleeve performs best with fluid viscosities between 12 cSt and 75 cSt allowing for a range of 10 cSt minimum to 400 cSt maximum. Additionally recommended filtration adheres to ISO 4406: 19/16 standards ensuring clean and efficient performance.

Will this sleeve work with regular mineral oil, or do I need something special?

This sleeve is designed to work best with mineral oil, specifically with a viscosity between 12 cSt and 75 cSt. It can handle a range from 10 cSt to 400 cSt, but optimal performance is within that narrower band.
