Designed for use with the Salami VD8A Series working section, the Salami Detent Positioning Kit provides reliable spool positioning on the B-side actuator of commercial-grade directional control valves. The detent mechanism holds the spool in a selected position without continuous operator input, supporting applications where sustained directional control is required.

Compatible with systems handling flows up to 20 GPM, the VD8A Series is rated for maximum operating pressures of 5100 PSI on ports P, A, and B, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI on the outlet port T. Standard NBR seals support fluid temperatures from -4°F to 185°F, and the recommended fluid viscosity range runs from 12 to 75 cSt under optimal conditions. Recommended filtration is ISO 4406: 19/16.
