Description & Features

Designed for use within the Salami VD8A Series, this port valve plug (PRA)/(PRB) serves as a working section component in multi-section directional control valve assemblies. It is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 5,100 PSI on ports P, A, and B, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI on the outlet port T and a flow rating of 20 GPM.

Compatible with mineral oil and standard hydraulic fluids, the plug functions across a fluid temperature range of -4°F to 185°F with standard NBR seals, and suits fluid viscosities between 12 and 75 cSt under optimal conditions. Recommended filtration is ISO 4406: 19/16. Technical data is based on mineral oil at 16 cSt with a contamination level of 19/16 per ISO 4406.

What’s the deal with the operating temperature for this valve plug? I just wanna make sure it can handle what I'm throwin' at it.

The safe fluid temperature range is -4°F to 185°F when using standard NBR seals. Keep in mind that the optimal fluid viscosity is between 12 and 75 cSt, though it can handle 10 cSt to 400 cSt.
