The SALAMI S.p.A VDM6 Series Monoblock Valve 623100130 offers excellent control and durability for industrial hydraulic systems. Its cast-iron monoblock construction supports up to 7 spools providing versatility in various applications. This valve features a parallel circuit with load check valve protection and an available tandem circuit on the first spool.

Designed to withstand harsh environments it operates efficiently within a temperature range of -22F to 140F. Hardened steel nickel-plated spools enhance surface hardness and resist corrosion ensuring longevity and reliability. The valve supports a maximum fluid viscosity range from 10 to 400 cSt with an optimal range of 12 to 75 cSt.

The SALAMI VDM6/DDD/U4S Valve is engineered with precision to minimize internal leakage achieving a rate of 1.1 to 1.52 in/min at 2285 PSI. It withstands a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI and operates up to 5100 PSI on ports "P" "A" and "B". Other features include a venting valve power beyond capabilities and a variety of spool control and positioning devices.

Recommended filtration for this valve is ISO 4406: 19/16 to maintain optimal performance.

what's the pressure rating on this valve, and can it handle continuous duty at that level or is 5100 PSI more of a peak number?

Port ratings on the "P", "A", and "B" ports are listed at 5100 PSI, and the maximum back pressure the valve handles is 363 PSI. Keep in mind that all the technical data was gathered using mineral oil at 16 cSt viscosity and a contamination level of 19/16 per ISO 4406, so staying within those fluid conditions is part of keeping the valve performing the way the numbers suggest.
