Port relief valve cavity plug (VR)

Designed for use within the Salami S.P.A. VDM8 Series Monoblock Valve platform, this port relief valve cavity plug (VR) provides a sealing solution for unused auxiliary valve ports on the A/B circuit connections. The VDM8 Series supports cast-iron monoblock construction accommodating up to five spools, with hardened, nickel-plated steel spools engineered for corrosion resistance and minimal internal leakage. The series is rated to 5,100 PSI on the P, A, and B ports, with a maximum back pressure of 363 PSI and an operating temperature range of -4°F to 185°F with NBR seals.

This cavity plug is catalog number C1MU74 and is compatible with a system fluid viscosity range of 10 to 400 cSt, with an optimal working range of 12 to 75 cSt. Recommended filtration is ISO 4406: 19/16. The plug is suited for industrial hydraulic directional control applications where an auxiliary port position requires blanking rather than an active valve function.
