got a cylinder that takes a 2.75 ID and 3.50 OD packing, is this the right size or am i lookin at it wrong

how many vees do you need for something running up around 4,000 PSI? trying to figure out the right count before i order

At 4,000 PSI you'd want to go with five vees. The set is rated 0 to 3,000 PSI with four vees, 0 to 5,000 PSI with five vees, and up to 10,000 PSI with six vees. So five gets you covered at that pressure with room to spare.
