The WEBTEC VFC Series variable flow control valve delivers consistent, pressure compensated flow regulation across a working range of 2 to 55 L/min (0.5 to 15 US gpm), making it well suited to hydraulic circuits where stable output flow is required regardless of load-induced pressure variation. Rated to 210 bar (3000 psi), the VFC55-K-A is built around an aluminium body with carbon steel internals and NBR/PTFE seals, connecting via 1/2" NPTF ports.

Compatibility with mineral oils to ISO 11158 and a fluid temperature tolerance of -30 to 120 °C (-22 to 248 °F) support a broad range of mobile and industrial hydraulic applications. Ambient service conditions are covered to 50 °C (122 °F). At 0.5 kg, the compact, lightweight construction simplifies installation in space-constrained systems.

porting on this is 1/2" NPTF -- does that mean i can thread it straight into standard hydraulic fittings or do i need an adapter?

NPTF is a tapered thread, so it seals on the threads themselves rather than relying on a separate face seal or o-ring. Standard 1/2" NPTF fittings will thread right in. Just make sure the mating ports are also NPTF or at minimum NPT, and use appropriate thread sealant. No adapter needed in that case.
