Actuator location port A or port B side. Knob, clevis or plain actuator (VS2 models). Knob, clevis, plain, handle or hydraulic pilot actuator (VS4 models). Manual spool action (VS2 models). Manual, spring return, 2-position detent or hydraulic pilot spool action (VS4 models). Front, bottom or both front and bottom inlet port location. 1/2 NPT or SAE-8 ports (VS2 models). 3/4 NPT, SAE-12 or SAE-16 ports (VS4 models).

Construction

High tensile strength cast iron body. Ground, plated and polished steel spool. Buna-N seals.

Wondering if this selector valve would be a good fit on my log splitter?

This VS series selector valve can certainly be used in log splitter applications, given its 40 GPM and 2500 PSI ratings are within your system's requirements. Make sure you select the correct port sizes (1/2 NPT or SAE-8 for VS2 models, 3/4 NPT, SAE-12 or SAE-16 for VS4 models) to match your existing hydraulic lines.
