This Hydraulic Supply Company water suction and discharge hose is designed for pumping, suction, and discharge of water, mud, and slurries. It is also suitable for conveying water and transferring saltwater (brine).

This black, 2.50-inch ID water suction & discharge hose features a synthetic rubber tube, textile and a single steel helical wire reinforcement, and an abrasion- and weather-resistant synthetic rubber cover. It has a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI and a temperature range of -13°F to +158°F.

Suitable fittings include cam and groove and combination nipples with crimp, swage, or preformed clamps.

What kind of fittings work best with this hose, like if I'm hooking it up to a pump?

Cam and groove fittings are a good choice, especially aluminum or polypropylene. Combination nipples also work well, and you'll want to use crimp, swage, or preformed clamps to attach them securely.

Got a pump setup moving slurry and muddy water off a job site, this 2.5 inch hose gonna hold up to that kind of use?
