Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Gary W on Mar 7, 2026, 11:56 AM
hose is rated to 300 degrees continuous or is that the peak before you start pushing it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 8:57 PM
Continuous operation runs up to 300°F. The 350°F rating is for intermittent exposure only, so if your process is running hot air at or near that upper number for extended stretches, you'd want to stay at or below the 300°F mark to keep the hose in good shape long term.
Question by: Todd P on Oct 8, 2025, 6:58 AM
What's the outside diameter on this Wildcat hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 10, 2025, 8:12 AM
This hose has an outside diameter of 4.59 inches.
Question by: Phil C on May 14, 2025, 9:36 PM
Got a hot air transfer application running around 95 PSI, this the right hose for that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 16, 2025, 1:34 PM
At 100 PSI max, you've got a little breathing room above your working pressure, which is generally where you want to be for consistent hot air transfer. The Wildcat is built for exactly that kind of material handling work, so the pressure range lines up fine for what you're describing.
