Absolutely, this Wildcat sandblast hose is designed for conveying sand or shot for cleaning. It's also good for moving sand from sandblast equipment, like when you're cleaning steel or concrete before painting. Just make sure to check your specific application needs against the hose's limitations.

got a 1 1/2 inch sandblast setup. is this hose actually 1.50 ID and what’s the outside measure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 4:06 PM
The inside diameter is 1.50 inch and the outside diameter is 2.36 inch, so you can match it to your 1-1/2 inch I.D. requirement and still plan for the bulk on the outside.

what's the temp range on this sandblast hose? got a job coming up where it gets pretty cold out and don't want the hose cracking on me
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 10, 2025, 7:08 PM
Rated from negative 40 degrees F up to 158 degrees F, so cold weather shouldn't be a problem for most working conditions. The natural rubber tube and SBR cover hold up well across that range without getting brittle or stiff in low temps.

what's the max pressure this sandblast hose can handle? running a pretty heavy operation and need to know if it'll keep up
Answer by: Customer Support on May 14, 2025, 6:23 AM
Rated up to 100 PSI, so it holds its own for most sandblasting setups you'd run into on a jobsite or in a shop. That pressure ceiling is right in line with what a standard blast pot pushes out, so you shouldn't have any trouble there as long as your system stays within that range.
