The Enerpac PPH40 Hydraulic Pin Puller Kit delivers 40 tons of pulling force to remove seized or frozen pins from heavy equipment including excavators and tracked machinery. It is designed for high-pressure hydraulic operation and allows a single operator to perform pin extraction safely and efficiently in maintenance and field environments.

The kit includes one hydraulic cylinder, one quick nut, three column sections, a shackle, and an eyebolt. All components are stored in a durable wheeled case for easy transport and setup. How many column sections come with the kit, and what's the longest pin I can pull if I stack all five together?

Each section adds 3.97 inches of pull capacity. Starting with one section you can handle pins up to 3.97 inches, two sections gets you to 7.94, three to 11.92, and stacking all five extends that out proportionally by the same 3.97-inch increment per section. The kit is built around that modular setup, so you configure it to match whatever pin length you're working with that day.

trying to figure out how long of a joint pin this kit will actually pull. how does that column stacking work?

With the C-shaped column sections, you can stack sections to match the pin length. One section will pull up to 3.97 inches, two sections up to 7.94 inches, and three sections up to 11.92 inches. You can use a maximum of 5 sections total, and each added section increases the pull length by another 3.97 inches.
