Pressure Reducing Valves

A pressure reducing valve, sometimes called a hydraulic PRV or pressure regulator, lowers the pressure in one branch of a hydraulic circuit below the main system pressure, so a secondary function such as a clamp or pilot circuit runs at a safe, lower pressure without needing a separate pump. Direct-acting models like the PRV1-10 Series respond quickly at lower flow rates, while pilot-operated models like the PRV2-10 and PRV2-16 Series handle higher flow with tighter pressure control, making them the better fit for larger circuits.
